We collect only what we need to make the app useful:

• Account info: your name and email address when you sign up or turn on renewal reminders.
• Subscription details you add: app or service name, cost, billing cycle, renewal date, category, and any notes you choose to enter.
• Activity history: actions you take inside the app (adding, editing, or removing subscriptions) so you can see your own change log.
• Basic usage data: standard technical info like browser type, device, and pages visited to help us keep the app running smoothly.

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account information, or connect to your financial accounts.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Show you the subscriptions you've added and their totals.
• Send email reminders before a subscription auto-renews (only if you've turned reminders on).
• Keep your account secure and let you sign in.
• Fix bugs, improve features, and keep the app reliable.
• Respond to you when you contact us for support.

3. Email reminders

If you opt into renewal reminders, we'll email you about upcoming renewals at the address you provide — typically around 45 days before a renewal date. You can turn reminders off at any time from your settings, and we won't email you marketing messages without your permission.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with a small number of service providers who help us run the app (for example, hosting, database, and email delivery providers), and only to the extent they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored with reputable cloud providers and protected with industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and limit access to it.

6. Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

• View, edit, or delete any subscription you've added.
• Turn email reminders on or off.
• Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.
• Close your account and have your stored data removed.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand basic, aggregated usage patterns. We don't use them to build advertising profiles about you.

8. Children's privacy

StackAudit Core isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, when appropriate, let you know inside the app or by email.
